We are working with one of the established self-storage solutions in Singapore which focus on offering secure and flexible storage options tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals and businesses in urban areas in their search for a Facility Manager 


Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the storage facility to ensure smooth functioning.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to maintain safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes and safety regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Schedule and supervise regular maintenance and repairs for the facility.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Prepare damage reports and oversee necessary repairs or renovations.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, including customer service representatives and maintenance personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to ensure high service standards.
- Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain financial records related to facility operations.
- Manage billing processes, including invoicing tenants and handling payment collections.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the facility and attract new customers.
- Monitor occupancy rates and develop plans to maximize space utilization.
- Ensure the security of the facility by implementing appropriate security measures.
- Conduct regular audits of security systems to ensure effectiveness.

Key qualifications: 
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities management or property management, preferably in self-storage or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
