Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and laws
- Maintain relationships with auditors, bankers, and financial institutions
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring adequate insurance coverage
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures
Team Management:
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals
- Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure team success
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with senior management, project managers, and other departments
- Communicate financial information and insights to non-financial stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance management
- Experience in the construction or design industry preferred
- Strong financial analysis, planning, and management skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
- Proficient in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
