We are working with a reputable BCA-registered contractor specializing in the design and construction of commercial and industrial buildings in their search for a skilled Quantity Surveyor here in Singapore

He/she must be specializing in the management of costs for construction projects, particularly in commercial and industrial buildings. He/she will work closely with partners, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure cost-effective and innovative solutions for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse cost estimates for construction projects, focusing on commercial and industrial buildings.
- Conduct feasibility studies and advise on costs for heavily reinforced structures with specialized requirements.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Manage the procurement process and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor and control costs throughout the construction process.
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for management and clients.
-  Analyse and resolve any cost-related issues that arise during construction.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.
- Assist in the valuation of completed work and preparation of final accounts.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- Professional membership with the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in commercial and industrial construction.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore building regulations and construction practices.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
