Key Responsibilities
- Quantity Take-off: Conduct accurate quantity take-off from architectural and engineering drawings
- Identify and extract relevant information from drawings and specifications
- Ensure all quantities are correctly calculated and recorded
- Quotations and Tenders:
- Prepare and manage quotations for tenders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely submission of quotations
- Ensure all quotations are properly recorded and filed
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including data entry and record-keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including quotations, orders, and customer interactions
- Assist with sales reporting and analysis as required
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including customers, architects, and engineers
Key Requirements:
- Education and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., quantity surveying, construction management, business administration)
- Relevant certifications or training in quantity surveying or a related field (desirable)
- At least 3 years of experience in a sales administration or quantity surveying role
- Experience in the construction or building materials industry (desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Familiarity with CAD software and quantity take-off tools (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
