We are currently representing a renowned asset manager for one of the largest mixed development companies in Singapore, known for its innovative projects, commitment to sustainability, and creating vibrant and sustainable communities that enrich the lives of residents and visitors alike. As the organization continues to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and ensure the efficient operation of our developments.

The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse team of technicians, contractors, and engineers to oversee the engineering operations of the mixed developments in Singapore. This individual will serve as the technical expert in engineering matters, operations, and energy efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, contractors, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that responsibilities are clear and objectives are met in a timely manner.

Engineering Management:
- Oversee all engineering operations within the mixed developments, including maintenance, repairs, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and efficiency of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Technical Expertise:
- Serve as the primary technical authority on engineering matters, providing expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to building systems, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions and design principles into development projects.

Operations Management:
- Collaborate with property management teams to develop and implement effective operational procedures and protocols.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the performance of engineering systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for ongoing operations.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability across all aspects of building operations.
- Identify opportunities for renewable energy integration, waste reduction, and resource conservation to minimize environmental impact.
- Lead initiatives to obtain relevant certifications and accreditations related to green building standards and sustainable practices.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior engineering management role, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, building automation, and energy management.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to building design, construction, and operation.
