We are a leading Tier 1 contractor in Singapore, specializing in large-scale construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, with a focus on variation orders for M&E Equipment.

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage and coordinate the preparation of variation orders for M&E Equipment. The successful candidate will have experience in handling complex variation orders, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely preparation of variation orders.


Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage variation orders for M&E Equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works
- Conduct site visits to assess and quantify variations
- Analyze and negotiate variation orders with contractors and clients
- Prepare and submit variation claims to clients
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and timely preparation of variation orders
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards
- Develop and maintain a database of variation orders and claims

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a quantity surveying role, with a focus on M&E Equipment
- Proven experience in handling complex variation orders and claims
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Familiarity with industry-standard software, such as Autodesk Quantity Takeoff or similar Membership in a professional body, such as the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV)
