We are a leading real estate investment firm with a strong presence across Asia Pacific, committed to embedding sustainability into our operations. We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our dynamic ESG team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful sustainability initiatives within the private equity real estate sector, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful outcomes.
As a Sustainability Analyst, you will report directly to me, the Head of Sustainability, and play a key role in advancing our ESG objectives while supporting both internal strategies and external communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sustainability and climate risk management by analyzing and interpreting data, leveraging Excel and other tools to generate actionable insights.
- Create dashboards and reports for internal updates and external stakeholder communication.
- Assist in preparing the firm’s annual Sustainability Report, ensuring compliance with reporting standards such as IFRS, PRI, and MAS environmental risk management guidelines.
- Support ESG assurance processes and implementation of aligned best practices.
- Conduct ESG and climate due diligence for potential acquisitions and collaborate with teams to integrate findings into strategic decisions.
- Collaborate on developing ESG-related policies, guidelines, and communications for internal and external use.
- Partner with the investor relations team to align ESG strategies with investor expectations and reporting.
- Develop and implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives
Key Requirements:
- A university degree in any relevant field (e.g., business, communications, engineering, finance, or humanities).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively across teams.
- Analytical mindset with a natural aptitude for numbers and data-driven problem-solving
- General understanding of real estate investment, ESG, and sustainability issues.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
