With substantial backing from a leading Middle Eastern fund, the team is expanding its footprint in Malaysia. It is now seeking an exceptional Technical Development Lead to lead our existing team in Singapore, driving technical due diligence, development, and operation of the upcoming data center, and spearheading future expansions.
We're looking for a seasoned Technical Development Lead with a proven track record in data center development, investments, and operations in South East Asia . The ideal candidate will have expertise in identifying and acquiring strategic assets, negotiating complex agreements, and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Technical development process in Singapore
- Drive technical due diligence processes for greenfield and brownfield data center sites
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies
- Negotiate and manage agreements with customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with regional teams on data center design, construction, and operations
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and local laws
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and customers
- Provide commercial and investment expertise to inform regional strategies
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in technical data center development, investments, and operations in South East Asia
- Proven track record of successful data center technical acquisitions and developments
- Strong understanding of South East Asia market dynamics, regulations, and cultural nuances
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead and manage high-performing teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Or Electrical)
- Knowledge of data center design, construction, and operations
- Familiarity with industry-recognized certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute, Tier certifications)
