We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, ranging from sustainable building designs to cutting-edge infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering: Develop detailed electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and other building systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Sustainability Focus: Integrate energy-efficient solutions and renewable technologies into designs, aligning with Arup's commitment to sustainability.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and structural engineers, to deliver seamless project solutions.
- Client Engagement: Liaise with clients to understand project requirements, present design concepts, and address technical queries.
- Technical Review: Perform calculations, simulations, and technical evaluations to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Site Support: Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases, resolving any design or installation challenges.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in electrical engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP) and familiarity with simulation tools for load calculations and power analysis.
- Regulations Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC, BS, or NEC).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) license or working towards obtaining it is an advantage.
