We are partnering with a global workplace design and build consultancy renowned for creating innovative, high-performance work environments that enhance productivity and employee experience. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role is integral to cost management and contract administration for commercial interior design and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key responsibilities: 
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for commercial interior projects.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for tenders and contract variations.
- Manage procurement processes, including supplier and subcontractor negotiations.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders.
- Assess and manage risks related to project costs and contract terms.
- Collaborate with project teams to optimize design solutions and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate and certify progress payments and final accounts.

Key qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in commercial interiors, fit-outs, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and tendering processes.
- Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
