We are collaborating with one of Singapore's premier builders, renowned for their extensive portfolio of projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments. They are looking for an Senior / Architectural Coordinator.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site coordination across all trades.
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials, and Method of Statement (MOS).
- Ensure work aligns with contract requirements and drawings.
- Plan architectural work and micro-schedule alongside other disciplines.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Implement and uphold quality control plans with Quality and Service departments.
- Procure and monitor architectural materials.
- Conduct inspections, demos, material testing, and mock-ups.
- Ensure precise tile/wall layout per setting-out plans.
- Verify and prepare Variation Orders (VO) and back charges.
- Attend subcontractor meetings and verify compliance with TOP and RI checklists.
- Review architectural materials, sample boards, and shop drawings with consultant feedback.
- Update progress using scheduling tools and complete other duties as directed.
- Ensure all work activities follow safety protocols.
Key requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognized by the PE Board.
- Relevant certifications in structural and architectural fields (e.g., NCCS, BCSS, Safety, Lifting).
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership skills to guide subcontractors, ensuring high standards and minimal defects.
- Preferably has completed a QM project and is registered as a Coretrade foreman.
- Solid understanding of architectural specifications and BCA quality requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with BIM.
- Willingness to travel across project sites within Singapore.
