We are representing a premier hyperscale data centre operator in the Asia-Pacific region, providing secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure to leading cloud providers, enterprises, and organizations. We're seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join our Data Centre Operations team in Hong Kong.
As Building Services Manager, you will report to the Operations Director and oversee physical security operations, contract management of soft services, and maintenance of external spaces at our Hong Kong data centre. You will ensure exceptional customer service, manage outsourced security personnel, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage physical security operations, including 24/7 outsourced security personnel
- Oversee contract management of soft services (cleaning, gardening, grounds maintenance)
- Maintain external spaces, including building envelope, grounds, and perimeter security
- Ensure customer security requirements are met with high customer service standards
- Support incident management, emergency response procedures, and root cause analysis
- Coordinate security clearance, soft services, and facility maintenance
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness and upkeep
- Manage data centre loading dock, customer office/storage areas, and AirTrunk onsite offices/meeting rooms
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and accreditation initiatives (ISMS, SOC2, PCI-DSS)
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities, security operations, or front-of-house management
- Proven experience managing 3rd party service providers, negotiating contracts, and setting critical metrics
- Opex budget management experience and familiarity with local regulations and standards
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to mentor junior staff
- Experience developing business processes and working with Customer Portals and Security networks
- General knowledge of building and security system repair/maintenance and health and safety
