We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives for our client in the fire protection solution provider within the built environment sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving the adoption of our fire protection solutions in the construction and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors in the fire protection industry. Develop and implement strategic plans to capture market share for vermiculite coating products.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and engage with potential clients, including construction firms, architects, engineers, and facility managers. Build and maintain strong relationships to drive new business and secure contracts.

Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, demonstrating the benefits and value of our fire protection solutions.

Product Expertise & Consultation: Provide expert guidance on fire protection solutions, including technical specifications, application methods, and compliance with fire protection standards. Offer consultation and support to clients to ensure successful implementation.

Partnership & Networking: Collaborate with industry associations, trade organizations, and other stakeholders to promote our products and enhance market presence. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads.

Project Oversight & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including project managers and technical experts, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.

Reporting & Forecasting: Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities. Provide regular updates to senior management and contribute to business forecasting and planning.
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales within the fire protection, construction, or coatings industry. Prior experience with vermiculite coatings or fire protection solutions is highly desirable.
