We're currently representing a fast growing Data Centre Private Equity firm in looking for a seasoned Regional Project Development Manager with 10-12 years of experience in hyperscale and colocation data center project development in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying, developing, and executing large-scale data center projects, navigating complex regulatory environments, and fostering strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional project development strategies for hyperscale and colocation data centers
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities in Southeast Asia, conducting feasibility studies and technical due diligence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment, design, construction, and operations
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, customers, and partners
- Negotiate and manage agreements with landowners, customers, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and local laws
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform project development decisions
- Provide regional market insights to inform investment strategies

Key Requirements:
- 10-12 years of experience in hyperscale and colocation data center project development in Southeast Asia
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale data center projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Strong understanding of Southeast Asian markets, regulations, and cultural nuances
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel extensively within the region (up to 50%)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
- Knowledge of data center design, construction, and operations
- Familiarity with industry-recognized certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute, Tier certifications)
- Network of contacts within the Southeast Asian data center industry
