This role of General Manager will oversee the retail properties the Group is having in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This will be a suitable role for individuals who are keen to work with a reputable Real Estate Developer and build their name in the retail market. 


Key Responsibilities: 
- Set and oversee long-term and short-term objectives for financial, leasing, marketing communications, and overall management.
- Formulate and implement plans and strategies with department heads to achieve set goals.
- Ensure effective execution of policies and directives.
- Work with HQ Office to standardize policies, processes, and procedures.
- Establish and enhance CMO policies and procedures for internal control.
- Coordinate department activities and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and manage the annual asset plan to add value to the mall.
- Review budgets, monitor performance, and adjust as necessary.
- Minimize operating costs and maximize revenue/profit.
- Plan tenant mix and implement marketing strategies.
- Lead leasing efforts to enhance tenant mix and rental returns.
- Oversee marketing and communications strategies to drive traffic and revenue.
- Lead and guide the CMO team, including departments such as leasing, marketing, and operations.
- Manage and supervise subordinates, ensuring effective performance and team morale.
- Handle staff grievances, discipline, and conduct performance reviews.
- Oversee daily operations including maintenance, security, car park, housekeeping, and landscaping.
- Perform routine inspections and manage Asset Enhance Initiatives (AEI).
- Ensure timely preparation of management reports and budget forecasts.
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting, cash flow, and asset management.
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment, training, and employee relations.
- Develop and maintain professional standards within the CMO team.
- Build relationships with strategic partners, retailers, vendors, and shoppers.
- Communicate with subordinates and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Chair CMO meetings and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Report on mall performance to agreed deadlines.

Key Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Estate Management, Building, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years in retail mall management.
- Experience across all aspects of shopping mall management, including Operations, Leasing, Marketing Communications, HR, Finance, and Credit Control.
- Strong business acumen with a passion for the shopping mall business.
- Excellent negotiation, business planning, and analytical skills.
- Strategic, proactive, and customer-focused with a demonstrated understanding of retail.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Effective report writing and presentation skills.
