This role of Finance Manager will work under the Head of Finance, working on group level finance. This role is highly suited for individuals looking for a sustainable career growth and getting in on the pulse of the retail space in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a  team to ensure smooth daily operation
- Responsible for accurate and timely monthly financial reporting for assigned entities including analysis of actual performance and budget, identification, and investigation of significant variances, monthly balance sheet reconciliation and proper balance sheet schedules
- Responsible for monthly consolidation of accounts
- Closely monitor and ensure intercompany transactions and balances are reconciled within the Group
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including consolidation of budget and preparation of reports for budget review
- Support the preparation of cashflow forecast
- Manage timely quarterly GST reporting and corporate income tax submission
- Manage accounting matters to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work with external auditors to ensure smooth audit closing and prepare the audited Financial Statements and XBRL files to be submitted to authorities
- Business partner with business unit and other key stakeholders across the Group
- Support tax planning and submissions
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned
 
Key Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
At least 8 years of relevant experience is preferred
Detail-oriented, team player but independent, and analytical with good problem-solving skills
Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
Possess strong business acumen, maturity and strategic thinking ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
