We are currently working with a globally renowned Data Centre Operator to establish, implement, and maintain a global data centres operations framework and service management system aligned with the company's objectives and policies. The successful candidate will provide onsite leadership, support start-up operations, and develop group-wide minimal operating standards, risk management, and governance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in global data centre operations, facilities management, and policy development.


Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a global data centre operations framework and service management system
- Provide onsite leadership and support for start-up operations and transition to in-country teams
- Develop and update global baseline maintenance standards, cost review, and modelling
- Review and align in-country engineering policies, processes, and procedures
- Develop group-wide minimal operating standards and risk management governance
- Conduct energy and water efficiency assessments and recommend improvement projects
- Lead global problem management and support customer-impacting incident reviews
- Develop group-wide operational performance data and key performance indicators
- Drive technical certification programs across regions
- Support external and internal site audits and capacity management modelling

Key Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in design/construction/commissioning, operations, and/or maintenance of mission-critical facilities
- Singapore certified Energy Manager, Green Mark Accredited Professional, LEED Green Associate, LEED AP, or equivalent certifications
- CDFOS, CDFOM, CDCP, CDCS, CTDC, CTIA, DCP, DCS, DCT, ATS, ATD, ATP, AOS, AOP, ITIL 4, or other data centre certifications
- Proven track record in global or regional data centre operations and/or facilities management
- Subject Matter Expert in data centre infrastructure, operations, and/or building services
- Proficient in Computerised Maintenance Management System, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Office, and Project
- Excellent knowledge of service management processes, energy and environment management, risk management, program management, and contract management
- Mechanical Professional Engineer
- Proven track record in developing group or regional level policies, management systems, standards, processes, procedures, guidelines, baselines, and programs.
