We're representing a dynamic architectural consultancy serving a diverse range of industries. We're seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Assistant to support our team in delivering high-quality projects while ensuring compliance with Singapore building authority regulations.
As an Architectural Assistant, you'll provide critical support to our architects and designers, focusing on code compliance, documentation, and project coordination. Secondarily, you could also take on onsite Architectural coordination responsibilities, collaborating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Your expertise in Singapore building codes and regulations will ensure our projects meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural drawings and documents for compliance with Singapore building authority regulations (e.g., BCA, URA, SCDF)
- Assist in preparing and coordinating architectural documentation, including plans, sections, and details
- Conduct research and analysis on building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to resolve design and documentation issues
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve site-related issues
- Document site observations, progress, and issues for future reference
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture or related field
- At least 1-3 years of experience in architectural design, documentation, or construction administration
- Strong knowledge of Singapore building authority regulations and codes (BCA, URA, SCDF)
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software
- Knowledge of sustainability standards and green building practices
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project)
