We are partnering with a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore that specializes in narrative-driven interior architecture, seamlessly blending cultural context, material craftsmanship, and spatial storytelling across hospitality, commercial, and experiential environments, in search of a talented Interior Designer.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and contribute to narrative-led interior design concepts that respond to site, context, and cultural nuance.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, consultants, and clients to deliver design solutions that are both poetic and practical.
- Prepare detailed drawings, mood boards, specifications, and presentation decks using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino.
- Source and curate materials, finishes, custom furnishings, and FF&E to support the design intent.
- Participate in site coordination, design reviews, and on-site problem-solving to ensure execution aligns with the studio’s design standards.
- Stay up to date with new materials, techniques, and trends relevant to experiential and spatial design.
- Assist with project documentation, tender packages, and authority submissions when required.
Key qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and spatial storytelling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Rhino (Revit is a plus).
- Passion for materials, detailing, and narrative-driven design.
- Excellent visual communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong project ownership, initiative, and collaborative spirit.
