We are seeking a driven and strategic Asset Manager to oversee the performance and value creation of a diverse portfolio of real estate assets across the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate operations, financial performance metrics, and market dynamics. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute asset strategies, enhance returns, and support investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize asset value and financial performance.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the assets including leasing, property management, budgeting, and capital expenditure planning.
- Conduct regular financial analysis, cash flow modeling, and performance tracking to ensure assets are aligned with business plans.
- Collaborate with investment, finance, and development teams to support value-enhancement initiatives and repositioning strategies.
- Manage third-party service providers including property managers, leasing agents, and consultants to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Prepare and present asset performance reports to senior management and investors.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay informed on market trends, rental rates, tenant movements, and comparable transactions.
- Support disposition processes including broker selection, marketing, and due diligence coordination.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, tax, and legal requirements for each jurisdiction.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related discipline. Advanced degrees or professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of asset management or related real estate experience, preferably in commercial, industrial, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and real estate financial software.
- Proven track record in driving asset performance and executing value-add -strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with real estate markets across Asia-Pacific is an advantage.
