We are representing a well-regarded regional Real Estate developer in seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as the Deputy Head of Investment and Asset Management. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing investment returns, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the overall growth and success of our real estate portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Provide key support in evaluating, planning, and steering assets to optimize investment returns.
- Assist in formulating and planning acquisition, development, and divestment strategies.
- Collaborate with senior management to align investment activities with organizational goals.
Investment Evaluation:
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities in the real estate market.
- Source and analyze potential real estate opportunities and proposals.
- Evaluate and structure investment deals, including due diligence and debt financing.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analyses, structuring, and feasibility studies.
- Perform cash-flow analysis and yield projections to assess investment viability.
- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze portfolio performance at both property and portfolio levels.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports for proposed acquisitions and divestments.
- Generate market reports by conducting market research, collecting and analyzing property market performance data.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Property Managers to ensure diligent execution of property business plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support all development activities for projects.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with investments and asset management.
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes affecting the real estate industry.
Key Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record with a minimum of [15] years of experience in real estate investment and asset management.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong financial analysis skills, including cash-flow modeling and feasibility studies.
- Ability to evaluate and structure complex investment deals.
Market Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the real estate market trends and dynamics.
- Experience in conducting thorough market research and analysis.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to senior management.
Team Leadership:
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of organizational goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
Technology Proficiency:
