Our client is a reputable developer seeking a Development Design Lead with portfolio spanning across Asia. They have been known as trailblazers in the industry, venturing into new markets and expanding the scope of real estate. Given their unique real estate portfolio, this would be a suitable role for an individual who seeks working on various kinds of properties in the region.


Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of design concepts and options for various projects, including tasks such as formulating design briefs, developing concept designs, and reviewing schematic designs, design development, detailed designs, and tender documentation. This extends to assessing mock-ups and shop drawings during construction stages through to project completion and operations.
- Collaborate with design consultants and liaise with relevant authorities to secure project approvals.
- Review and evaluate design proposals submitted by consultants.
- Conduct preliminary feasibility studies to determine the development potential of prospective projects or acquisitions and manage simple in-house design initiatives.

Key Requirements:
- A degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of professional experience with exposure to projects in commercial, retail, residential, hotel, medical and healthcare, and mixed-use developments in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
- Strong understanding of design principles, detailing, regulations, and project implementation processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is preferred.
- Qualified Person (QP) accreditation is a plus.
