Key Responsibilities:
Facility Operations and Maintenance:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the high-security facility, ensuring all systems, equipment, and infrastructure are functioning efficiently.
- Plan and execute preventative and corrective maintenance schedules for critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security measures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security standards, including access control and surveillance systems.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Negotiate and manage service level agreements to meet operational requirements.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet both routine and emergency facility needs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to facility operations, inspections, and incidents.
- Lead emergency response planning, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Act as the primary point of contact for incident reporting and resolution.
- Lead and develop a team of facility staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Provide training on security protocols and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing facilities in high-security or critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA CFM, FMP) or Security Management (e.g., ASIS PSP, CPP) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strict confidentiality.
