We are working with an client who is a leading IFM provider within APAC region an experienced and highly skilled Facilities Management Manager to oversee the operations of a high-security facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Operations and Maintenance:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the high-security facility, ensuring all systems, equipment, and infrastructure are functioning efficiently.
  • Plan and execute preventative and corrective maintenance schedules for critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
Security Management:
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security standards, including access control and surveillance systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Negotiate and manage service level agreements to meet operational requirements.
Budget and Resource Management:
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet both routine and emergency facility needs.
Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to facility operations, inspections, and incidents.
Crisis Management:
  • Lead emergency response planning, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incident reporting and resolution.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop a team of facility staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Provide training on security protocols and operational procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing facilities in high-security or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA CFM, FMP) or Security Management (e.g., ASIS PSP, CPP) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strict confidentiality.
