We are partnering with a leading furniture company in Singapore that specializes in crafting high-end outdoor and indoor pieces, providing comprehensive loose furniture solutions for luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces across Southeast Asia. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding the company’s presence in the hospitality sector. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, including hotel chains, luxury resorts, restaurants, and developers, while identifying new business opportunities to enhance market share.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow the company's presence in the hospitality and commercial furniture sector.
- Identify and engage potential clients, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and property developers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and procurement teams to drive project-based sales.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design and production, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to drive business growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand awareness.
Key qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience in the furniture, interior design, or hospitality sector.
- Strong network within the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, F&B, and commercial projects) is highly preferred.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects, manage client expectations, and ensure timely delivery.
