We are currently working with an international industrial REIT in seeking a seasoned Compliance and Risk Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing a 2-year Compliance Monitoring Program, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining key risk and control matrices, driving operational risk management, and conducting AML/KYC checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present a 2-year Compliance Monitoring Program based on risk rating matrices
- Conduct quarterly testing and due diligence checks on staff, directors, and appointed representatives
- Maintain records, including Form 3A, 8, and 16, and update the Representatives Register
-Track declarations for staff, appointed representatives, and HoDs
- Monitor Gifts and Entertainment Disclosure Register
- Maintain the organization's Key Risk and Control Matrix, Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and Risk Appetite Statements
- Drive Operational Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for business functions
- Conduct internal control risk surveillance and BCP exercises
- Maintain the "Master Tenants List" and conduct AML/KYC reports and reviews
- Clear false positive matches from World-Check One System
- Conduct ad-hoc and periodic reviews on business prospects
- Initiate world-check screening and due diligence on new shareholders, business partners, and vendors
- Conduct periodic training and assessment for employees on AML/CFT
- Assess and conduct periodic reviews of outsource service providers
- Maintain the outsourcing register and collaborate with business functions to address potential business risks
Requirements:
- Degree in Banking, Accountancy, or Business
- At least 5-8 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance surveillance role
- Self-driven and resourceful with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage staff and prioritize tasks effectively
