We are working closely with an international private equity real estate fund in seeking a dynamic and driven Client Relationship Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust network of High Net Worth (HNW) individuals and investors, with a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships within the real estate investment industry. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our multi-family thematic fund by originating investments through strategic relationship building and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HNW individuals, family offices, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders within the real estate investment community.
- Proactively identify and engage potential investors through networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors, addressing inquiries, providing investment updates, and delivering exceptional client service.
Origination and Investment Sourcing:
- Utilize existing network and market knowledge to identify investment opportunities aligned with the objectives of the multi-family thematic fund.
- Collaborate closely with investment analysts and fund managers to assess potential deals and evaluate investment viability.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
Deal Structuring and Negotiation:
- Lead negotiations with sellers, brokers, and other counterparties to structure favorable investment terms and agreements.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all regulatory requirements and internal policies are met throughout the deal process.
- Drive the execution of investment transactions from initial sourcing to closing, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to expedite deal timelines.
Client Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and deliver regular investment updates, performance reports, and other communications to investors, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on investment strategies, market trends, and portfolio diversification.
- Address investor concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering long-term relationships built on trust and integrity.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field;
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in client relationship management, real estate investment, or private equity, or private banking with a demonstrated ability to cultivate and expand investor networks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
